Grower Video Project
If a picture is worth 1000 words, imagine the power of a video directly from the farm.
The SCCC invites growers to share their experience and we will share our editing skills.
Conferences
Interested in forging connections with other cover crop users and gaining latest information on cover crop management in the southern region?
The SCCC Conference will provide farmers, crop consultants, extension agents, and other professionals with the skills they need from first time cover croppers to more experienced users.
Multistate Research Trials
The mission of the SCCC is to increase cover crop use through collaborative education and research across the Southern region. The Research committee organizes cooperative, multi state cover crop trials.
Since 2018, common experiments studying seeding rates, mixes, and termination timings have been hosted in 15 states at up 44 site locations including 10 different cover crop species.
Volunteer with SCCC
Volunteers are encouraged to interact with the SCCC through formal activities or informal conversations.
As a volunteer, the SCCC encourages your feedback on existing activities and programs to ensure solutions to cover crop issues across the southern region are being provided.
