About Us
The Southern Cover Crops Council is a community of volunteers that help farmers adopt and improve cover crop management.
The Vision
Formed in July of 2017, The Southern Cover Crops Council was formed by a diverse group of cover crop researchers, educators, educators, practitioners, industry representatives, service providers and non-governmental organizations representing all states and territories in the Southern Region.
The Mission
Facilitate and enhance communication and collaboration among producers, extension, researchers, and other agricultural professionals, and transfer information and technology to promote the successful adoption and integration of cover crops into southern agricultural systems.
